Josef Schwarz was an important entrepreneur from Heilbronn and co-founder of today’s Schwarz Gruppe, which includes the retail brands Lidl and Kaufland. With entrepreneurial vision, responsibility and strong regional ties, he shaped the company until his death in 1977. The Dieter Schwarz Stiftung, founded by his son Dieter Schwarz, supports our school as well as numerous other educational projects that enable young people to access quality education.
