Our admission process
in detail

Online registration

Simply complete our online registration form. It’s quick, easy and non-binding.

We will get in touch with you shortly to discuss the next steps together. If needed, we may ask for additional information, school reports or other documents.

Admission procedure

All registered families receive a school questionnaire from us. The completed questionnaire, together with the primary school recommendation and report cards, forms the basis for our taster and admissions days, which allow us to get to know the children in advance.

Each child goes through an admissions process that varies slightly depending on the year group. This helps us understand whether the concept of Josef-Schwarz-Schule is the right fit for your child.

An exciting new chapter begins

Once your child has successfully completed the admissions process, you will receive an offer of a place via email. As soon as you accept the offer, we will send you the school contract for digital signature. With your signature, an exciting new chapter begins for your child.

Welcome to our secondary school – we look forward to accompanying your child on their journey.

If places are available, we also welcome mid-year admissions.«

Tuition fee calculator

Quality education should not depend on family income. To make our school accessible to as many families as possible, tuition fees are calculated based on annual household income.

Total annual family income

For which child?

Monthly contribution per child

What’s included: The parental contribution, profile fee, after-school and holiday programmes, and meals are included in the monthly amount. Additional costs such as materials, excursion and laptop fees, as well as a one-off administration fee, may apply.

Parental contributions
for our secondary school

  • Parental contribution

We aim to make our educational offering accessible to as many children as possible. For this reason, we use a model of income-based parental contributions.

The monthly contribution is calculated based on the family’s total annual income.

  • Profile contribution

The profile contribution supports the bilingual profile of the school. It enables extended learning opportunities beyond the timetable, assistant teacher support, individual coaching, talent programmes and the work of our school coaches.

  • After-school / holiday programme and school meals

Our all-day programme includes optional services such as supervised afternoon care, exciting holiday activities, and freshly prepared meals – all designed to support families and enrich the school day.

  • Materials

At the beginning of each school year, there is a materials contribution of €150.

  • Excursion fee

At the start of each school year, we charge a flat excursion fee of €60.

Larger trips – such as camps, international exchanges, ski trips or travel abroad – are not included and will be billed separately.

  • Laptop 1:1 programme (laptop classes)

From year 8 onwards, Josef-Schwarz-Schule provides each student with their own business-grade school laptop. Subject-specific questions can be researched directly during lessons. Notes are stored digitally and are accessible at any time. Naturally, students may also take their devices home.

A yearly flat fee of €250 applies.

This fee includes: the laptop, software, energy costs, maintenance and repairs, updates, insurance, and printing costs (within the school).

  • Administration fee

A one-time administration fee of €200 is for new admissions to Josef-Schwarz-Schule.

This fee is not charged again when changing between school branches.

  • Tax deductibility

Information on the tax deductibility of childcare costs for parents can be found ►here.
All information is subject to change.
